  • about bownce

bownce is web app using pownce.com's API to help gather your replies in a convient page. it is designed to enhance the experience of keeping up with posts of my favorite social site pownce.com. with help of many folks of pownce's great community, i've been able to take this web based app from my head to paper... well, more like terminal...

oh yeah! totally forgot to mention that i, leah siddall, wrote this and stuff.

    bownce's features:

Auth - you can feel secure b/c its using pownce's authentication collapsed replies - all the replies before your last one are collapsed so you only see replies since your last one name highlights - searches through the comments and highlights your name, so if someone was trying to get your attention you can find it quickly

    special thanks to:

pownce.com's development team for the wonerful API and allowing us to use it further than its planned potiential. pownce.com's design team b/c i totally ripped off their site design. so i hope they will forgive me for that!! kyle browning's pownce PHP API package saved me probably days of work all my friends for testing out the web app as it grew

only pulls public posts... even though its completely aware there are posts to your friends and privates (not that kind of privates) it won't let me pull the full note its far from perfect graphically... hey! its amazing it looks this decent to be honest! no features other than pulling just replies and notes from other folks it appears it started pulling topics from your own profile... i told it not to do it... i will add that feature anyways
